Beginning Watercolor (Beginner, Intermediate)

Monday mornings with Kay Wahlgren (9:30-12:00 PM)

Watercolor does not have to be muddy or mysterious. The basics will be covered, from setting up the paint box to painting techniques. This class is both for beginners and the continuing student who wants to review and strengthen basic skills. Projects will include fruit, flowers, landscapes, and composition. Supply LIst

This class will focus on bringing freshness, movement and vitality to your paintings. Each class will start with a critique of the homework from the previous week. Individual needs will be covered in class demonstrations. Supply List

Capture the energy of the city and the tranquility of the countryside with the magic of watercolor. Apply big, lush washes and let the paint work for you as you explore composition, color theory and application to keep your paintings fresh and vibrant. Demos and critiques each week.

Wednesday evenings with Gail Dragon (7:00-9:30 PM)

Same pose for two consecutive Wednesday evenings. Attend any evening you wish, unannounced. Class fee is due during the session. Medium of your choice.

Life Drawing & Painting (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)

Saturday afternoons with Jessica Breed and Janice Wood (1:30-4:30 PM)

Practice drawing, it really makes you a better artist. The 3-hour pose gives you the time to make corrections and build confidence. Use your favorite media. Bring all necessary art supplies to class. Pay at the front desk before class. No registration. Come when you can so we can continue to provide this unique opportunity to paint a live model.
