*** Paint DuPage: a Community Invitational Art at DuPage Art League located in downtown Wheaton, IL. ***

DuPage County has so much to offer and can be reflected by stories told in visual arts. DuPage Art League located in downtown Wheaton invite the local Chicagoland art community to participate in our October exhibit, ‘Paint DuPage’. Art related to DuPage County such as paintings, photography, drawings, fiber art, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, etc. will be accepted.

Members of the DuPage Art League can submit two works of art free of charge, and non-members pay $10 per piece to enter. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded: one Best of Show ($50); one Theme Award ($25); three Special Merit Awards ($20 each); and twelve Merit Awards.

The entry dates are September 22-23 with pick-up dates October 20-21 both between 9am and 5pm. Each artist can exhibit two pieces of work.  The first work may not exceed 100”, one length plus one width, inside frame dimensions (for example, 40×60=100 would qualify.  45×60= 105 would not).  When art sells, 100% will be paid to the artist and then the artist makes a donation equal to 25% to the DuPage Art League.  The second piece must be priced at $200 or less and not exceed 25” inside frame dimensions (11×14).

The DuPage Art League (DPAL) is a not-for-profit art school and gallery. We have a full schedule of children and adult art classes that start September 13. We also have workshops and free Zoom demos that are offered. More info is available at

DPAL’s aim is to promote and encourage the visual arts through classes, workshops, gallery exhibits, free public fine arts programs, exhibits by our artists in numerous commercial and public buildings, and financial endowments to public institutions of arts education and scholarships to students. All donations and gifts to the League are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.
