Watercolor: Planning and Painting
This class is best suited for intermediate to advanced watercolor painters who want to focus on the underlying
structure of a pain8ng while exploring their own visual ideas. Each project will be divided into two parts (three
projects in the six-week class). The first part will focus on the planning stage such as reference material,
composi8on, value sketches, and colors. The second part will explore pain8ng techniques such as: underpain8ng,
wet-on-wet, glazing, and dry brush. Subjects may include landscape, s8ll-life, abstracts or portraits.
