This medium is so versatile and portable. If you love to draw or want to learn to draw, this medium is meant for you. Learn to produce exciting results with colored pencil projects on Bristol board, toned tan paper, and black paper. After some quick exercises in color theory and mixing colors, students will be able to work on a subject of their choice. Take advantage of toned tan paper to speed up doing a portrait in sepia and crème. Have fun making moody pictures on black paper where the colors come alive, and you get the darkest darks from the paper itself. Composition, value, and technique will be discussed. B.I.A.
