Capture the slight tilt of a head, the pure joy in a smile, or years of experience in a pair of eyes. All these subtleties will be examined as we explore the many shapes and shadows that are unique to each person’s face. Working in black and white will allow the drawing to transform from a two-dimensional flat shape into a three-dimensional portrait. Each feature will be examined and its relationship to the other facial features mapped out. We will work from photo references and students own personal photographs. B.I.A.
